FYB London, the innovative London based fashion brand raised more than $135,000 in just 30 days onCrowdfunding platform Kickstarter. The funding allows the brand to realise its dream of launching the World’s SMARTEST handbags designed to empower enterprising women in a more mobile, connected and secure lifestyle.

FYB’s products bring forward the latest in SMART technology with features including Wireless SMART device charging, Bluetooth® connectivity and organisation to rival that of a mobile office.

With the initial crowdfunding target of $30,000 raised within just 72 hours of launching it soon became apparent FYB had hit the spot with their audience. The cash allows the company to move forward with their first production run with backers receiving their products in August this year.

FYB London provides both style and powered functionality. Features include a wireless phone charging pocket allowing you to charge your phone on the move; Bluetooth connectivity linked to the app allows users to unlock their bag from their smartphone and enables proximity alerts to ensure you never stray from your bag; and TSA accepted fingerprint locks offer increased security & convenience. An external, easy access RFID protected pocket, multiple secure internal pockets and a laptop compartment ensures easy organization and sufficient volume.

The concept for the business was created after the Founders realized that whilst evolutions such as smart phones, social media, air travel & changing work practices have all paved the way for a more mobile, connected lifestyle they have also created some key dependencies such as to device battery life as well as security and logistical challenges. With these innovations FYB hope to empower customers to go longer and achieve more.
